Limits

Today is an exciting day! Well, okay maybe some parts are more heart-breaking than exciting. Like um, submission of graduation transcript...! My grades aren't THAT good, but I guess what's over is over and there's no point in fretting over results that cannot be changed. I could have done much better though (maybe) but well......I'm not exactly an extremely determined person and I kind of like living my life the way I lived it so even if I were to realize how crappy my CAP is now, I don't think I would have changed anything I did over the past six years. It is really demoralizing, however, to have the elite world crushing your hopes by being disappointed in getting nearly top-notch grades that are higher than yours. I mean, I understand that everyone has different expectations of themselves, and I guess mine isn't that high and others have higher standards that they wish to achieve, and it's not their fault or anybody's fault but I guess it's just not a very nice feeling? Well, it doesn't matter anymore though, those are just temporary feelings of demoralization. What's done is done so yay I can't wait to graduate!

Today is also exciting because I'm doing my last bit of packing before flying off for a week's holiday in Hong Kong! :D Time to go to Disneyland, Ocean Park, and do loads and loads of eating and shopping! I'm bringing this huge luggage there to store all my shopping when I fly back :P First time I'm flying overseas without any adult supervision! Which is quite scary. I'm actually quite scared that something might go wrong during our trip (touchwood) like our hotel rooms being unable to accommodate all six of us, or running out of money (I doubt so!), or getting lost...and there's that acid thingy in HK so it's quite scary! Going to make sure I walk under shelters at all times! Unless I'm playing at Disneyland or Ocean Park of course! I can't wait to go to HK!!
