I haven't blogged in a really really long time!! Don't really have the motivation to do much blogging these days. No motivation to do anything at all in fact :( All I've been doing is going out and spending money and zzz. Not even driving that much, but that will all change tomorrow! Can't wait to go back to driving after a really long break. Starting to learning parking now! Feel like an extra slow learner.. Everyone is practically booking driving lessons every other day to get their license ASAP but well...I'm a little on the chillax side.. Don't really see a point in rushing when I have all the time in the world! Haha. But yes I am excited at the thought of being able to drive around Singapore on my own! Can't believe Danielle managed to pass manual with such a good score! Even my dad couldn't believe it haha. That's going to be a record hard to beat! You've raised the bar too high!!!
Anyway, all that driving stuff aside, I'm really really extra happy that I've gotten my MOE teaching internship! :D Haven't been wishing and hoping so much for something in a long time! Can't wait for the new year to come! I'll be teaching at Swiss Cottage Secondary, which is really awesome because I practically have free transport there (if I'm jew enough to tske the BBDC bus and walk to school..). But either way, it's only 3 bus stops away which makes it super convenient! So excited! My mom keeps telling me that I'm going to regret going into teaching...but we'll see yeah? I don't think I'm that easily defeated! There's a three-day training programme at NUS Faculty of Science beforehand so I hope everything goes well! Don't underestimate me okay! I know I can do this well! The interview for the internship was superrrr informal! It was in a huge room used for events and stuff I think, with many round tables around. And at each table would be one to two interviewers and up to eight interviewees. Yep, group interview. I got totally taken aback when our interviewer (Mr Sih) asked about the recent initiatives By MOE! I mean, okay that should have been expected...if it were an interview for a scholarship! I didn't prepare at all for the interview, except for choosing the clothes that I would wear and planning my route there, but other than that, I didn't expect any other questions besides "So, why do you want to teach?". Thought I was so screwed but I guess my non-stop smiling paid off and woohoo! You may call me Ms Yap ;D
Christmas is just around the corner and every year the C.C.C. organizes a Christmas party and concert....except this year we just havent't gotten to it...and Christmas eve is just 11 days away... So dead! I hope all goes well! But if nothing happens...I guess we could all just sit around the Christmas tree and sing some Christmas carols right?...or juet eat the whole turkey HAHA. Wonder what we're having for Christmas dinner this year! Sanyi hasn't gone around doing a vot yet!
Talking about Christmas, every year there's always the dilemma of what to get for Christmas, both for myaelf and my friends. Hm, not trying to sound like a spoilt brat, but because we kids get to have a budget for Christmas, it's always hard trying to think of what's the best deal we could get using the budget. This year, I think I'll just go for some storybooks (hohoho I've an entire list of books I can't wait to read!) and maybe a new bag to bring to work next year! Of course a girl always has dreams about an entire pile of gifts we would like to get if there weren't a budget, but let's keep that dream tucked in a corner of my head till I get rich/find someone rich enough to sponsor all that for me!
Okie I should probably end here and go to bed. Driving at 730am tomorrow! Haven't been waking up earlier than 10 these days.. Bye! Hopefully I would update this dump soon!
